The Ottawa Police Service said Thursday it was trying to locate an Indigenous woman who hadn’t been seen in three weeks.
Dezzi Kakepetum, 27, was last seen Feb. 6 in the area between Rideau Street and Strathcona Park in Sandy Hill, but she was only reported missing on Feb. 26, an OPS media release said.
Kakepetum was described as standing approximately five feet six inches tall, pregnant, with dark brown eyes and dark brown, shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call the OPS at 613-236-1222 ext. 7300.
