Purchased last year by the Town of Qualicum Beach, B.C., the Eaglecrest Golf Course is poised for a $1.2-million redesign,
CHEK News reports Grass Roots Enterprises has been selected to conduct a redesign project that includes a rebuild of the golf course’s third hole, construction of a new eighth hole, a reshaping of the ninth fairway and the installation of new tees for the fifth, seventh, eighth and ninth holes.
The removal of some trees and the planting of others is included in the project.
The municipality said work is to begin this week with plans for completion “as soon as possible.”
