Surrey selling land to BC Hydro

Surrey is planning to sell just shy of an acre of land to the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority for $6.5 million at 13823 Fraser Highway in Whalley.

City hall posted its notice of intention to sell the property on February 26, noting the land “is surplus to the City’s requirements and will be utilized for future utilities development as identified in the City Centre Plan.”
