The Vancouver forecast for March is out, and you’ll want to keep the umbrella nearby for the first part of the new month.
According to Environment and Climate Change (ECCC) meteorologist Brian Proctor, the last few days of February will be mainly clear and warm.
However, the beginning of March may be wetter than normal.

“Right now, we’ve got a fairly nice weekend for Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 1, with temperatures just below or at seasonal values.
“As we head into the first work week of March, there is an enhanced possibility of showers. An onshore flow is bringing in impulses which will affect Greater Vancouver starting in mid-week.”
The Vancouver forecast for the start of March is calling for plenty of rain and showers, with a daytime high of up to 13°C from Monday, March 2, through to Wednesday.
Overnight lows continue to hover between 3°C and 6°C for the first week.

ECCC’s Canadian Climate Normals Data shows that the daily average temperature in December for Vancouver is 6°C. The month averages 104.1 mm of rainfall.
However, there is a chance that things could soon dry out in the Vancouver weather outlook.
“It’s looking like Vancouver will see just above seasonal temps, and slightly drier for March,” added Proctor. “There is also a chance of a little bit less precipitation for the month.”
