Calgary is getting a brand-new spot for all things matcha.

Matcha is really having a moment right now, and YYC is getting a new dessert shop dedicated to the green stuff. From the team behind Greedy Donut, Be’o will be a go-to for matcha beverages and desserts when it opens in Aspen.

Touted as a “quiet spot for matcha and moments,” Be’o will offer specialty matcha drinks, matcha-based desserts such as matcha cookies and matcha tiramisu.

There will also be an array of freshly-baked donuts on offer, and if Greedy Donuts is anything to go by, the soft and fluffy treats will be a must.

The spot will be hosting its grand opening on Monday, March 2 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
