LFA has been a springboard for many mixed martial artists to the UFC. Set for his first matchup up 2026, LFA’s Christian Natividad will hope to continue his professional unbeaten streak as he is set to face-off with Adrian Garcia at LFA 228 in the night’s main event for the LFA flyweight title.

Christian Natividad Growing Up On the Path to MMA

Mixed martial arts has been in the cards for Christian Natividad since day one. A master of all sports, he would find his calling on the wrestling mats, earning glory on the mat before transitioning to the cage full-time.

“I’ve always been an outdoor type of kid growing up,” Christian Natividad began. “Growing up, we played a lot of football at the park, basketball, soccer, relay races, and really anything physical that kids used to do back then.”

Christian Natividad tried a host of athletic disciplines before deciding on the world of competitive violence.

“I started skateboarding and ended up quitting right before high school,” he said. “I joined the JROTC program throughout my entire high school and I started wrestling my junior year and senior year of high school. I wrestled a little bit in college, but then I decided to fight MMA since my brother was doing it and I had lots of fun training with him.”

Dominating on the wrestling mats, Christian Natividad would earn the 2014 boys 120-lb Hawaii state championship before briefly attending a top-ranked NAIA in Southern Oregon University. Natividad would then transfer to Arizona State University before taking on MMA full time with his brother, Kevin Natividad, who is also a professional mixed martial artist.

Fighting In the Blood for Christian Natividad

It is said that shedding blood on the mats with your fellow training partners makes you family. For Christian Natividad, he sheds blood with his biological brother, Kevin, in the cage. Older brother Kevin has been a veteran of the fight game since 2016, where he made his professional debut at WFF 32.

For Natividad, his brother his been a major influence. “To this day, he’s still one of my main training partners, and also one of my coaches,” Christian Natividad said.

Now training at the MMA Lab, Natividad has several of the best teammates and coaches in the world helping him create the ultimate fight game. The MMA Lab is located in Arizona and his home to such MMA stars as UFC fighter/coach Jared Cannonier, former UFC champion/coach Benson Henderson, and rising star Abdul Kamara among many others.

Christian Natividad: From Debut to LFA Mountain Top

Christian Natividad would make his professional MMA debut July 2020 on the LFA 85: Hughes vs Demopoulos card where he would face Michael Aquila. Natividad would earn the first-round knockout, but not as quick as Kevin, would scored a knockout over one minute faster in the night’s co-main event. Natividad would improve, if even possible, from his quick knockout in his debut to turn around in October 2020 and end the year for him with a 29-second knockout at LFA 92.

2021 would contain much of the same success. In his first fight of the year, which took place in at LFA 100 in February 2021, Natividad would go the distance and earn the unanimous decision over Evan Woolsey.

This time, there was no big brother on the card and the family spotlight fell solely on the rising 135er. Natividad would only compete twice in 2021, ending his fight year in July at LFA 110 with another dominant unanimous-decision victory.

2024 Onward

From the summer of 2021, spanning the next three years, the fans would only see Natividad in the cage an addition once and he would earn a decision victory at LFA 144 in October 2022. November 2024 would see Natividad return to regular action with a decision win at LFA 196 against Devon Jackson.

2025 would prove to be another major year in the career of the rising star. At LFA 210 in June 2025, Natividad would earn another decision nod, this time against a very dangerous opponent in Jose Sandoval.

In his most recent appearance, Natividad would earn a huge knockout of Jostin Quilca at LFA 220 in the first frame of action back in October.

So what is the ultimate goal for one of the sport’s hottest rising starts? “Contenders Series or short notice; I’m down for whatever. UFC championship is the goal; it doesn’t matter the journey!” stated Natividad.
