Motorola has introduced the new Edge 70 Fusion smartphone, which has a thinner body compared to its predecessor, while maintaining a similar battery capacity and a number of other improvements.

The Edge 70 Fusion is 7.2 mm thick, 0.8 mm thinner than the Edge 60 Fusion, while retaining the 5200 mAh battery with 68 W charging support. The weight of the device remains unchanged at 177 g. Another version will also be released for the Indian market, which will be 7.9 mm thick, but it will receive a 7000 mAh battery.

As for other changes, the Edge 70 Fusion has a redesigned 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It also has a higher peak brightness of 5200 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device is protected against water and dust according to IP68 and IP69 standards.

The smartphone is equipped with Adreno 810 graphics and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which is 15% faster than the previous generation, which used the MediaTek Dimensity 7300.

The device also features a dual camera with Pantone Validated certification. The main module is a 50MP Sony Lytia 710 sensor with optical image stabilization. The second camera is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with macro capabilities. On the front is a 32MP front camera.

Motorola has not yet announced the official price of the Edge 70 Fusion, but a number of European retailers and sources indicate an expected price in the range of 430-499 euros.
