MLS All-Stars will battle a team of stars from Mexico’s top soccer league, LIGA MX, at Bank of America Stadium.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Major League Soccer announced the 2026 MLS All-Star Game at Bank of America Stadium will feature MLS All-Stars taking on a star-studded lineup from Mexico’s top league, LIGA MX. 

The 2026 MLS All-Star Game is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, in Uptown Charlotte. This will mark the fifth time LIGA MX has competed, following appearances in 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025. The club has a 1-3 record against the MLS All-Stars. 

This summer’s All-Star Game is the first held in the Queen City since Charlotte FC joined the league. The game will be broadcast live on MLS on Apple TV in English, Spanish and French. 

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24. 

In addition to the All-Star Game, Charlotte will host the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge on Tuesday, July 28. The biggest names in MLS will face off against LIGA MX stars at Truist Field.

Charlotte was formally awarded the 2026 All-Star Game last July. MLS Commissioner Don Garber praised the Queen City’s fanbase for supporting the club from day one. 

Garber called Charlotte a “world-class soccer destination,” touting the Queen City’s record of hosting international matches, including friendly contests between some of the world’s biggest soccer clubs. 

“To the supporters, the great fans who pack this stadium, with your incredible loyalty to the club, you’ve earned this moment,” Garber said.
