Police have charged a Brampton man after a break-in that led to the recovery of stolen items, police say.
The Hamilton Police Service says officers received a tip on Friday about the suspects in residential break and enter incidents on the east mountain.
The tip came in from a member of the public, and police say the information led to the arrest of a 46-year-old suspect from Brampton.
Investigators also recovered property believed to be stolen, and have released photos of the items in an effort to identify and return them to their rightful owners.
“Anyone who recognizes the property or believes it may belong to them is asked to contact investigators,” police said in a release.
Investigators haven’t said when the alleged break-ins occurred.
Police say Jose De Guzman, 46, of Brampton, has been charged with two counts each of break and enter to commit theft and failing to comply with probation.

Police thanked the public for their help in the investigation, saying the arrests shows “the impact of timely information sharing and the strength of the partnership between police and the public.”
“When we work together, we are able to respond quickly and effectively to enhance safety for everyone,” police said.
