Hamilton police have arrested a 46-year-old Brampton man in connection with residential break-and-enter incidents on the city’s east Mountain.Ā 

The Hamilton Police Service said a tip from a member of the public on February 27 led Division 30 detectives toĀ locateĀ and arrest the suspect without incident.Ā 

Jose De Guzman of Brampton has been charged with two counts of break and enter to commit theft and two counts ofĀ failing to complyĀ with probation. Police say he was not previously known to Hamilton authorities.Ā 

Investigators also recovered property believed to have been stolen during the incidents. Photographs of the recovered items are being releasedĀ in an effort toĀ identifyĀ and return them to their rightful owners.Ā Anyone who recognizes the property or believes it may belong to them is asked to contact investigators.Ā
