Laura Dern and Kristen Wiig, Palm Royale
Apple TV
Spring is a time for renewal on TV. (You’re not special, nature!) March had barely begun when Fox announced the news that Best Medicine will be back for Season 2. The show, an adaptation of Britain’s Doc Martin, stars Josh Charles as a brilliant surgeon, aptly named Dr. Best, who leaves Boston behind to start over in a quaint fishing village in Maine. Congratulations to Dr. Best on the first renewal of the month. They should call him Dr. First.Â
March wasn’t as kind to Apple TV’s Palm Royale. The Emmy-nominated comedy starring Kristen Wiig and Laura Dern was canceled after two season.
Whether you’re looking to celebrate your favorites or mourn the loss of something on your regular rotation, we’re keeping tabs on all the shows that have been canceled or renewed in March below.Â
