The Ontario Enduro Series presented by Norco is expanding for 2026, growing from five races to seven.

The calendar mixes some new venues with some returning favourites. Racing takes place from the Ottawa Valley oper to Georgian Bay and Northern Ontario. Riders will count their best five results toward the overall standings. That gives competitors room to miss a race or recover from a mechanical without destroying their season.

The expansion reflects a steady rise in interest in enduro racing at the provincial level.

“The calendar this year is an expansion from 2025 with the total number of races increasing from five to seven,” said series organizer Alex Schmidt. “The 2026 calendar is designed to expand the reach of enduro racing across Ontario and offer participants a wide array of terrain and trail systems to experience this year.”

Season opener brings enduro to Uxbridge

The series begins July 5 with a new venue at Trail Hub in Uxbridge. The network is within reach of the Greater Toronto Area, making it a natural place to kick off the season.

Organizers expect the location to draw a strong turnout and introduce new riders to enduro racing.

“This is a brand new enduro venue that is close to the GTA and is sure to have a great vibe and be a good kick start to the season for all racers,” Schmidt said.

Familiar stops return to the calendar

The schedule also sees some returning venues and events.

The Huntsville Enduro is on July 19 and brings racers back to the rugged Canadian Shield terrain.

The Highlands Enduro in Duntroon follows on Aug. 16. This is a mix of fast Niagara escarpment trails and technical descents.

A week later, the Wilderness Tours Enduro brings the series east to the Ottawa River region on Aug. 22. The venue is a rider favourite to be sure.

Northern Ontario hosts championship weekend

One of the biggest enduro race weekends is taking place in North Bay.

The provincial championship race Sept. 19 takes place at the Three Towers trail network. Then on  Sept. 20, the Ontario Enduro Series continues on the nearby Laurentian trail system.

Riders loved the double-header in 2025 and it’s expected to be a seriously fun weekend.

A classic finale in Millbrook

The season wraps up on Oct. 4 with the Ganny Enduro in Millbrook, near Peterborough. According to organizers, this is the longest-running event on the Ontario calendar.

Grassroots racing gaining traction

“The 2026 calendar is designed to expand the reach of enduro racing across Ontario and offer participants a wide array of terrain and trail systems to experience this year,” says Schmidt.

The goal is less about professional racing and more about building a welcoming space for riders who want to test themselves.

With seven races across a wide range of terrain, the 2026 season reflects how that community is continuing to grow.

Registration for the series is expected to open in mid to late March. Stay tuned here for more details.
