A new food festival is coming to Mississauga this summer.

Taco Fest, which has previously been held in other cities including Toronto, will also now happen in Mississauga over one weekend in June.

“The two-day festival brings together top chefs, live music, salsa dancers, and handcrafted cocktails from day to night, celebrating Mexican flavor and culture. It is the first time the event is expanding to Mississauga,” Visit Mississauga’s website says.

“The event will feature 150+ variations of tacos. Indulge in Mississauga’s top offerings of both traditional Mexican cuisine along with new takes on classics.”

The event will happen on June 27 and 28 at Memorial Park in Port Credit, which is located at 40 Lakeshore Road East.

Taco Fest will also be happening from Aug. 7 to 8 at Fort York in Toronto, and from Sept. 5 to 7 at Clock Tower Pier in Montreal.
