LANES CLOSED: Crews battle vehicle fire on Brampton highway

UPDATE: Ontaro 511 says all northbound lanes of Steeles Avenue have been closed

Multiple lanes of a busy Brampton road have been closed due to a vehicle fire on Wednesday.

Ontario 511 said around 12:40 p.m. that the blaze happened in the northbound lanes of Highway 410 at Steeles Avenue in Brampton. A photo from the scene showed a firetruck blocking traffic and a car that had been doused.

Two right-hand lanes have been closed on Highway 401, and drivers should expect delays.
