A man wanted in connection with the murder of a 15-year-old boy has been arrested, Toronto police say.
In an update on Thursday, investigators say 20-year-old Abdul Yeberebaba was apprehended by the Calgary Police Service on Feb. 27.
He has been returned to Toronto and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Jahkai Jack on June 7.
Yeberebaba is the third suspect arrested in the homicide. Police announced last week that 19-year-old Jayden Samuel-James and 21-year-old Rajveer Gill had been taken into custody and charged with accessory after the fact.
The shooting happened near Buttonwood and Charlton Settlement avenues.
Police said Jack was visiting the area with friends when he was shot.

“There was a group of people hanging around, possibly filming a rap video. Jahkai and a couple of his friends went to that area. There was an altercation, and Jahkai ended up getting shot,” Det.-Sgt. Phillip Campbell said at a news conference last week.
“He was 15 years old, he was not involved in gangs, he was not engaged in criminal activity, he was simply a young person meeting friends on a summer night.”
