Current World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is embracing a new chapter in her life after announcing her engagement to Brazilian businessman Georgios Frangulis, whom she has reportedly been dating since 2024.
Frangulis became Sabalenka’s partner following the tragic death of her former boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov. The Belarusian tennis star shared the news through a joint Instagram post with Frangulis.

“I can finally call him something else… FIANCÉ 💍,” Sabalenka wrote.
Her caption appeared to be a callback to a joke she made after successfully defending her title at the Brisbane International in January.
““Thank you to my boyfriend… Hopefully, soon I can call you something else. Let us put some extra pressure. I looked at my boyfriend. No pressure!” the 27-year-old joked during her speech.

Family members, friends, and figures from different industries sent their well-wishes to the couple in the comments section. Among them were actress Lily Collins, the official Instagram accounts of the Women’s Tennis Association and Association of Tennis Professionals tours, Fabio Quartararo of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team, model Abbey Clancy, and Jerry Rice.

“Congrats GOATS,” wrote Rice in his comment.
Rice being there is surprising as there’s no documented interaction between him and Sabalenka. That’s greatness recognizing greatness. Rice himself is a Hall of Fame member in the National Football League. Sabalenka is still young to be in the HOF but she already accomplished a lot even if she has just entered her peak.
As for his romantic life, the former San Francisco 49ers star’s record is not really good although he has been part of long-term relationships.

Rice was married to his first wife Jackie Mitchell since from 1987 to 2009 and together they had three kids – Jaqui, Jerry Jr. and Jada. They divorced and Rice got married again in 2019 to Latisha Pelayo.
He also fathered a son with Djakarta Edwards. The kid, named Brenden, grew up to be a good football player and is currently playing as wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders.
