UFC 326 takes over home television screens this weekend, as BMF champion Max Holloway is gearing up to defend his strap for a second time against previous lightweight king Charles Oliveira. In the penultimate matchup of the night, Caio Borralho and Reinier de Ridder seek to rebound from their first UFC defeats with an amazing performance over the other. UFC 326 Main Event
Last seen in action last July at UFC 318, Holloway sent perennial lightweight contender Dustin Poirier into retirement following an entertaining five round scrap. Crossing paths with his most credentialed opponent over the course of his 155-lb tenure, “Blessed” is aiming to prove he is the absolute baddest fighter in the division.
Embarking on one of the greatest comeback stories in combat sports history, Oliveira has dazzled audiences over the years with his practical library of outstanding finishes. Making one final push towards his former position at the head of the pack at lightweight, “do Bronxs” is preparing for a climatic showdown with easily the most dangerous striker he has ever faced in his career up until now.
UFC 326 Co-Main Event
Winning his first seven fights in the promotion, Borralho appeared to be a legitimate title contender heading into his summer matchup with Nassourdine Imavov in 2025. However, “The Natural” found himself outmatched by the French juggernaut, losing a one-sided decision. Regrouping with his team, the Brazilian is eager to get back into Octagon to right the wrongs of his last contest.
After having his momentum stopped by Brendan Allen in their main event clash this past October, de Ridder was forced back to the drawing board after suffering his first defeat in over a year since leaving ONE Championship. With his weight management issues seemingly fixed, “The Dutch Knight” can set himself up for a possible championship opportunity with a monumental performance.
More Bouts On the UFC 326 Main Card
Rounding out the main card, bantamweight veteran Rob Font takes on young prospect Raul Rosas Jr. In an entertaining lightweight matchup, Drew Dober meets Michael Johnson. Finally, middleweight bruisers Gregory Rodrigues and Brunno Ferreira square off in a sure-to-be thrilling rematch.
