CULLOWHEE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women’s Tennis dropped its non-conference tilt to Western Carolina by a score of 4-2 on Friday (Mar. 6).
 
Western Carolina won two matches to capture the doubles point, before Asheville would capture two wins in singles play while Western Carolina defended their home court for the win. Sofia Segui picked up a 4-0 retirement win over Jenelle Roberts at No. 3, before Maria Sol Alvarez Brandon beat Axelle Van Beurden 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4.
