Two people were arrested Saturday afternoon after a stolen vehicle rolled on its side as its driver attempted to flee police in southeast Calgary.
Just after noon, police responded to a report of a vehicle being driven dangerously.
Police employed at least one of their vehicles to halt the fleeing suspects, said a detective.
“Officers had to react using vehicle-based tactics,” said Det. Gord Fraser of the Calgary Police Service.
The stolen vehicle ended up on its side at 52 St. and Prestwick Ave. S.E.
Nobody was injured but two people were taken into custody and charges are pending, said Fraser.
