The Maxx Crosby trade not only gave the Las Vegas Raiders some added draft capital, but also a lot of room to spend in free agency.

Following 2025’s brutal 3-14 campaign, Vegas owns the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, as well as the No. 14 selection after acquiring two first-round picks from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for their Pro Bowl EDGE.

That should give new head coach Klint Kubiak plenty of resources to build the franchise back into a winner — and it starts with spring’s free agency period.

Per The 33rd Team’s Ari Meirov, the Raiders are going to have plenty of contracts to hand out after dealing Crosby to Baltimore.

“After trading Maxx Crosby, the Raiders are slated to have over $120M in salary cap space — far and away the most in the NFL, over $25M more than any other NFL team,” he reported.

The Raiders have a lot of holes to fill so they’re definitely going to need every available dollar they can get their hands on. But as is always the case with the Silver and Black: will they spend it in the right places?

“It’s been seven years being with the Nation. Raider Nation has given me everything,” Crosby said. “My family. Had the chance to get married, have the most beautiful daughter in the world, grow as a man. As a player, as a leader, as a human being. One thing I can say, above all else, is that I gave y’all everything I got and I have no regrets about that.”

“I put everything into trying to win as a Raider… it’s been a damn journey,” he continued. “Ever since I’ve been here, I’ve had one goal and one mission, and that’s to become the best version of myself and help bring a championship back to the Raider organization. … You guys have supported me through it all; the ups, the downs. The passion. … It’s time for the next chapter.”
