Avalanche work closes Highway 1 from Golden to Revelstoke
Highway 1 is closed in both directions between Golden and Revelstoke due to avalanche control work.
The closure stretches about 142.5 kilometres, between Townley Street and 14th Street North. Officials say there is no detour available.
The highway is currently expected to reopen at 10 a.m. PST on Sunday, March 8.
According to DriveBC, the next update expected at 9:45 a.m. on March 8.
