One person is in hospital following a shooting in Peterborough on Sunday afternoon.
Peterborough police say it happened inside a residence near Parkhill Road and George Street North around 4 p.m.
One person was initially transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre but was later airlifted to a hospital in Toronto, police say.
There is no immediate word on their condition.
The circumstances that led to the shooting are not immediately known, but police say it is an “isolated incident.”
No suspect information has been released.
