The Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (CsHm) Calgary is a focused event built around real-world measurement and regulation challenges, with classroom sessions led by field experts and an exhibitor floor designed for hands-on learning and practical conversations.
Westech Industrial will be at CsHm Calgary on March 17–18 at Booth 412, bringing demos and technical expertise for conversations around sampling reliability, field-ready safety detection, level indication upgrades, pressure monitoring, analyzer applications, and custom fabrication support.
What you can see at Booth 412
1) Sample system solutions that protect measurement accuracy
If measurement results don’t make sense, sampling is often where the story starts. Sample transport time, phase behavior, conditioning, filtration, and temperature control can determine whether what reaches the instrument is truly representative of the process.
At CsHm, we’ll be showing A+ Corporation sample system demos, and Vincent Argrave (Regional Sales Manager, A+ Corporation) will be presenting a session that’s highly relevant for measurement teams working with challenging gas streams:
Sampling Gas From Unconventional Sources (Advanced)
March 17 | 3:30–4:20 PM | Glen 204
This session focuses on gas sampling design fundamentals and how to minimize sampling error for compositional analysis when dealing with unconventional sources—where gas may be wet, at high pressure, or even near-supercritical conditions, requiring more sophisticated sampling techniques than conventional sources.
2) Level indication you can verify quickly (without guesswork)
We’ll have Clark Reliance level measurement demos on-site, including armored level gauge and Magnicator options, and we’re happy to discuss where rugged local indication can reduce uncertainty and support faster, safer checks.
3) Pressure monitoring and protection conversations that fit real service conditions
We’ll be showing United Electric demos, including One Series and pressure switch solutions, and we can talk through application fit, setpoint strategy, and what tends to hold up best in demanding service.
4) Analyzer expertise + custom fabrication support
Measurement systems are rarely plug-and-play. They’re built—often around site constraints, uptime requirements, and practical maintenance realities.
Westech will have our analyzer expert, Vinod Vincent, on-site to answer questions about our range of analyzer solutions, and we’ll also be available to discuss how custom fabrication services can support measurement and analyzer-related projects where assemblies, mounting, integration hardware, and site-specific fit-up make the difference between “installed” and “working well.”
