In the world of modern motorsports, the line between pixels and pavement is blurring faster than a car hitting the bricks at Indianapolis. At the heart of this revolution is Garrett Lowe, the Gastonia, North Carolina, native who has officially announced his return to the NASCAR Euro Series for 2026. After a breakout 2025 rookie campaign that saw the American phenom silence skeptics with raw speed and veteran poise, Lowe is back behind the wheel of the #99 BS+BREMOTION Chevrolet. This time, the goal isn’t just to learn the tracks; it’s to bring the PRO championship trophy home to NASCAR Country.
Lowe’s journey is the ultimate sim-to-reality success story. A heavyweight in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, Lowe spent years mastering the nuances of draft-lines and tire management in the virtual world. When he crossed the Atlantic in 2025, he proved those skills translated perfectly to the heavy-hitting, door-to-door action of the European circuit. His rookie year was nothing short of a statement, marked by four consecutive top-10 finishes to start the season and two podium finishes in the elite PRO category. He also became the first American to stand on a series podium since Cup Series legend Bobby Labonte in 2018.
“I am very excited to be back for a second season in the NASCAR Euro Series with Bremotion and BS+COMPETITION to chase after the PRO championship!” said Lowe, who balances his time as a professional sim racer and freelance motorsports engineer. The chemistry built during his debut year is viewed as the team’s biggest asset heading into the new season.
For Bremotion Team Principal Patrick Brenndorfer, Lowe represents the future of the sport. “We are very pleased to continue the story from sim-racer to real-racer with our hybrid-racer Garrett. After a strong 2025 rookie season at Bremotion – including two podium finishes in the PRO category – as an American, he quickly integrated into our European team. In 2026, we are once again reaching for podiums and victories with the #99,” Brenndorfer noted.
The partnership between Bremotion and BS+COMPETITION creates a unique ecosystem. While Lowe battles in the real world on weekends, he remains a front-runner in the virtual eNASCAR ranks. Florian Haasper, head of BS+COMPETITION, emphasizes that this dual-threat approach is the team’s North Star.
“The hybrid-racer story around Garrett Lowe goes into the next round. 2025 was a huge success: Garrett came into the NASCAR Euro Series as a sim-racer, mixed it up at the front from the first moment, and fought for the title until the finale. You could hardly start such a chapter better. Now we are taking the next step with BS+BREMOTION. The experience from the debut year is there, the team is well-coordinated—and we are going on a full attack.”
“The unique connection between the real racing world and Esports makes this project so special. With a driver who is at home in both worlds and competes at the very front in both – real in the NASCAR Euro Series and parallel in the eNASCAR series on iRacing. Exactly this hybrid approach is our path at BS+COMPETITION Esports. And together with Bremotion, we continue to follow it,” Haasper said.
Lowe won’t be carrying the banner alone. He will be partnered with Dominique Schaak, who will handle the duties in the OPEN division. The duo aims to propel the #99 machine to the top of the Team Championship standings, combining Lowe’s engineering-mindset and American aggression with Schaak’s seasoned experience. As the series prepares to kick off, all eyes are on the kid from Gastonia. If 2025 was the warning shot, 2026 is shaping up to be a full-scale assault on the record books.
