A couple of roster items were taken care of before the Seattle Mariners hit the road Monday for Scottsdale to take on the Diamondbacks at Salt River Fields.
Mariners’ Bryce Miller takes positive first step toward return
The team essentially did some spring housekeeping, agreeing to terms on 2026 contracts with all 23 pre-arbitration players on the 40-man roster. All members of the 40-man roster are now signed for the upcoming season.
Also, camp got a bit smaller with right-handed pitcher Gabe Mosser, infielder/outfielder Blake Rambusch and outfielder Jared Sundstrom re-assigned to minor league camp. Minor league spring training games begin Tuesday, as the Mariners system will take on the Guardians system with a Double-A game taking place in Peoria and the High-A and Single-A games played in Goodyear.
With the moves, the camp roster is now at 67.
In Scottsdale Monday, we have a lineup.

Rob Refsnyder, RF
Luke Raley, CF

Notes
• We could see Andrés Muñoz face Cal Raleigh tonight as Team Mexico takes on Team USA in the World Baseball Classic at 5 p.m. in Houston.
• We will soon see some returns from the WBC with pool play ending for most teams Tuesday. Colombia has been eliminated from advancing after losing its first three games in Pool A in Puerto Rico, meaning prospect Michael Arroyo will soon return. Look for him to possibly get some reps in the outfield before the end of spring training as the Mariners, who love his bat, see him quickest path to the bigs coming with the ability to play there in addition to his usual second base.
• Bryan Woo will be making his third Cactus League start, and no, we don’t expect him to be wearing a PitchCom transmitter as he has preferred to go with what Cal Raleigh calls. Logan Gilbert, on the other hand, is planning on using one in his next start. George Kirby perhaps has started a trend.

• The game marks the return of J.P. Crawford to shortstop. In his morning meeting with the media, Mariners manager Dan Wilson said there is no concern about Crawford being ready for the regular season.
