Oppo has shared fresh information about its next high-end smartwatch. To recap, the company published two videos relating to the Watch X3 at the end of last week. Now, Oppo has confirmed that the Watch X3 will be joining the Find N6 during a simultaneous launch on March 17.

Currently, the company has not mentioned the Watch X3 outside of Chinese social media. Still, the company’s Chinese teasers suggest that the Watch X3 will be receiving a global premiere on March 17. Moreover, Oppo has revealed that its new smartwatch is 16% lighter and 6.4% thinner the Watch X2, which comes in at 49.7 g and 11.8 mm, respectively.

The Watch X3 is IP69 certified too with an all-titanium build and a new bamboo strap. Whether the Watch X3 will also serve as a successor to the OnePlus Watch 3 (curr. $338 on Amazon) globally remains to be seen at this stage. Oppo has not commented on whether any differences exist between Chinese and global versions, either. However, the Watch X2 indicates that the global version of the Watch X3 will ship with Wear OS.
