Peel Regional Police say Jaspal Thiara is wanted on two counts of fail to comply with release order after breaking conditions of his release.

The 39-year-old of no fixed address was arrested and charged in a fraud investigation in 2021, and again in 2024 after police received multiple reports that someone had fraudulently sold concert and sporting event tickets to an unsuspecting victim.

Police said victims suffered a financial loss of more than $38,000, and that the fraud may be part of a larger “advance fee scam” involving the sale of bogus tickets across the Greater Toronto Area.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on Thiara’s whereabouts to come forward.

Thiara is described as a South Asian male standing around 5’9” and weighing approximately 180 lbs. He has short black and grey hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion.
