If you’ve been missing sleeping at normal hours, tonight is the final game where the Sens will be out of their timezone, that is, until they reach the Cup finals of course ;).
So far, they have managed to grab 5 out of a possible 6 points, including a very impressive win against the Seattle Kraken. The problem is, while this has improved their chances, all the teams they’re chasing are also winning, making it feel impossible to catch up.
Sitting at 51%, the Sens’ playoff chances may be in real danger with the recent injury to Jake Sanderson. While he is listed week-to-week, the Sens can’t afford any stretches of losses in the upcoming weeks. We are left hoping players like Tyler Kleven help Thomas Chabot lift the defensive load.
Just like the Calgary Flames, the Canucks are the team to beat, but these games are also the ones where you face a hot goalie or bad officiating, so hopefully the Sens are not taking their opponent any less seriously than they should.

We knew James Reimer would get a game this road trip, and I guess the Canucks are the lowest risk to do so. That being said, without Jake Sanderson and the addition of a very fragile goalie, let’s hope the team can rally to minimize fatal mistakes.Warren Foegele scored his first as a Senator in his first game with the team. Now would be a fantastic time for him to find his scoring touch again.Can Tim Stützle continue his streak? What if he reaches 40 goals?
