Pedestrian hit-and-run in northeast Calgary sends child to hospital

A Tuesday morning hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian in northeast Calgary has sent one child to hospital.

At 7:18 a.m., CPS officers were on the scene of a hit-and-run along the 700 block of Taradale Drive N.E. The pedestrian, a child, suffered a leg injury and was transported to hospital in non-life threatening condition.

The vehicle involved fled the scene, and Calgary police say the investigation is ongoing.
