The International Festival of Digital Creativity and Electronic Music, MUTEK, is returning to Montreal for its 27th edition from August 25 to 30 in the Quartier des spectacles. Organizers have now revealed the first names leading the 2026 lineup.

Jeff Mills, Rival Consoles, Ben UFO, Evicshen, Matthew Herbert, Voices from the Lake, Honeydrip, A Guy Called Gerald, Barker, chiquitamagic and more are slated to take the stage over six days and nights, across multiple local venues including the Esplanade Tranquille, SAT, MTELUS and Maison Symphonique, as well as the Atrium and Studio-Theatre of Les Grands Ballets.

This year also marks a turning point for the MUTEK Forum, which expands across two of the city’s key performing arts venues: the aforementioned Studio-Theatre of Les Grands and the Agora de la Danse. The programming — to be announced in full next month — will include talks, project presentations, performance lectures and workshops exploring the nature of creativity in the digital age.

The Festival + Forum Passport — providing access to the fest’s regular paid programming as well as all Forum activities — is now on sale at the early-bird rate of $420, while the Festival Passport and Weekend Pass are still available for $270 and $200, respectively, until midnight ET (after which they’ll be $320 and $235, taxes and services fees not included).

Individual tickets and the Forum Passport will go on sale in the coming months, with more lineup details to follow as well. For more information, visit the MUTEK website.
