Today is Mar. 11, 2026. A meeting was held between the WNBA and the WNBPA players union about getting to terms on a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the league setting an arbitrary deadline of Mar. 10 to keep the 2026 WNBA season starting on time.

According to Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports, that meeting was ongoing as of almost 11 p.m. ET last night.

And by 11 p.m. ET, the sides were still meeting.

Oh yeah, it’s midnight, and they are still meeting.

I’m going to bed now, so hopefully I’ll write about some good news in the morning about a major positive change. No guarantees, though. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
