MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
We are currently accepting applications for the following position:
Medical Receptionist (1 Full-time, temporary position *6 Month Contract) Competition #2026-01
The Medical Receptionist provides critical front line support to the clients and team of the Algoma NPLC. The ideal candidate will be flexible, have a high attention to detail, excellent computer skills, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Demonstrated experience providing superior customer service is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-year post-secondary education in a related field such as office administration (courses in medical terminology etc. would be an asset)
• Excellent computer skills, and a high proficiency in certain electronic applications (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office programs, Email and Internet Research, EMR)
• Strong sense, appreciation and understanding of confidentiality and privacy required
• Demonstrated planning, organization, problem solving, multi-tasking, written and oral communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Clear criminal reference check
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Proficiency in English required, French an asset
