One of Brampton’s grocery stores is closing down later this month to move to a new location.
Signs at the Food Basics grocery store on Bartley Bull Parkway say the location will be closing early on March 25 for the last time, but shoppers won’t have to wait long for a replacement.
A new location of the Canadian-owned grocery chain is set to open the following day around 4.5 kilometres northwest at 400 Queen Street West, the store has confirmed with INsauga.com.
The Bartley Bull Parkway store will close at 5 p.m. on March 25, and the new store on Queen Street will be open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Food Basics says shoppers impacted by the closure can shop at locations at 227 Vodden St. E. and 10886 Hurontario St. in Brampton, and at 7070 Saint Barbara Blvd. in Mississauga.
