Another heavyweight bout is on the UFC books.
Promotional sophomores AJ Frye and Max Gimenis will be seeking their first UFC wins against one another at UFC Fight Night 275. The event takes place April 25 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Training under former UFC contender Derek Brunson, Frye (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) displayed durability and toughness in a hard-fought promotional debut in December. Frye suffered the first loss of his professional career in a unanimous decision defeat to Guilherme Pat.
Gimenis (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) entered MMA with a decorated grappling background that included medaling in IBJJF Pans, UAEJJF Grand Slam, CBJJ Brazilian Nationals, and IBJJF Worlds. He entered the UFC on a five-fight winning streak but was quickly finished in 58 seconds by Josh Hokit in November.
