NFL free agency is well underway, and there have already been some big moves. Tight end Travis Kelce announced he won’t retire and will return to the Chiefs next season. Kansas City also signed Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker III, Miami released quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who signed with Atlanta, and fellow pivot Geno Smith is heading back to the New York Jets.
All that said, Rider Nation still has its eye on what the Cincinnati Bengals are doing after they signed a thousand-yard receiver, Dohnte Meyers. Meyers is focused on preparing for training camp with the Bengals and told the SportsCage that he has tweaked his training this offseason.
“Me and my training staff go back to work and start knocking off days. Whether it’s conditioning or size in the field, this past offseason, I was training on soccer fields to get used to the CFL field. I got to make sure that my body’s in optimal position to perform at its highest level. That’s tailored to now, where it’s a different-sized field. So, little nuances like that you have to make sure that I can get 1 per cent better in every aspect of the game.”
