MONTREAL — Montreal police are investigating the death of a man found inside a business near Laurier metro station in the morning.
Const. Raphaël Bergeron says police consider the death as suspicious.
Police received a call around 7:30 a.m. for an unconscious man inside a convenience store on Berri Street near the intersection of St. Joseph Boulevard.
Officers believed the man was deceased and paramedics later confirmed the death at the scene.
Montreal police have cordoned off the area near the business.
Bergeron says investigators are on scene trying to establish the circumstances of what happened.
