1. Kyle Busch and Joey Logano Fight on Pit Road (2017)
One of the most memorable moments in Las Vegas history came after the 2017 Cup Series race when Kyle Busch confronted Joey Logano on pit road.
The two drivers had made contact late in the race, damaging Busch’s car and ending his chances at a strong finish. Busch approached Logano’s car after the race, and the confrontation quickly escalated into a brief fight before crew members and officials stepped in.
The incident instantly became one of the most talked-about NASCAR altercations of the modern era.
2. Mark Martin Wins the First NASCAR Cup Race at Las Vegas (1998)
Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted its first NASCAR Cup Series race in March 1998.
Mark Martin dominated the event, leading the majority of the race and giving Roush Racing a historic victory in the inaugural Cup race at the track.
The win helped cement Las Vegas as a permanent stop on the NASCAR schedule and marked the beginning of the track’s long relationship with the sport.
3. Kyle Busch Wins at His Hometown Track (2009)
