Crescent Heights

If you love a good view of Calgary, Crescent Heights is the perfect place to be. Perched just north of downtown, the neighbourhood offers stunning views of the city’s skyline and the Bow River as the city thaws out from winter. You can wander along the quiet tree-lined streets or stop at one of the scenic lookouts for a view of the city coming back to life.
Beltline
After being cooped up inside for the winter, Beltline is the perfect neighbourhood to get out and stretch your legs. You can check local shops, cafes, and restaurants along the bustling downtown streets. As trees bud and patios slowly reopen, the area comes alive with people enjoying the warm weather.
Ramsay
Tucked just beside Inglewood, Ramsay is a small neighbourhood with big character. Known for its artistic vibe, it’s a fun place to explore on foot once the weather warms up. You can even head up to Scotsman’s Hill for one of the best skyline views in Calgary, especially on a clear spring day.
Brentwood

If you’re looking for an outdoorsy neighbourhood to explore this spring, Brentwood offers plenty of green space and easy access to nature. The neighbourhood sits near Nose Hill Park, one of Calgary’s largest natural parks, where you can wander along rolling hills, dirt pathways, and wide-open grasslands.
Marda Loop
Known for its trendy shops, cafes, and restaurants, Marda Loop is the perfect neighbourhood to explore in the spring. It’s a great place to wander, shop, grab a coffee, and soak up the neighbourhood’s lively atmosphere while still being close to nearby parks and pathways for a touch of nature.
East Village

Located right along the Bow River, East Village is one of Calgary’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. In spring, as the snow starts to melt, the river pathways fill with cyclists and walkers enjoying the weather. You can grab a coffee or a snack from a local shop and stroll the area while taking in some fresh air, public art, riverfront views, or check out the public library and some of the courses it has to offer.

Its main strip is lined with vintage stores, local boutiques, restaurants, and live music venues, making it a super fun area to explore when the weather warms up and greenery starts to bloom.
