Also sold globally, the Watch S4 comes in two sizes. By the looks of things, Xiaomi only plans to replace the larger 47 mm variant later this month. Reportedly, the new Watch S5 will last up to 21 days on a single charge. An apparent 6-day improvement on its predecessor, this battery life coincides with Xiaomi including new sensors for more accurate health monitoring, too.
Also, the Watch S5 features 316L stainless steel, reduced bezel thickness and optional eSIM functionality. Seemingly, only the silver version with a beige leather strap will offer this functionality, though. Whether the modular design from older Watch S smartwatches returns remains unclear for now. Based on past performance, Xiaomi will release the Watch S5 globally later this year, too.
