Riders on Ottawa’s LRT can now take Line 1 as far east as Tremblay, as Ottawa’s transit service continues work to restore full-length service.

The partial closure stems from two separate incidents, on Wednesday and Friday, involving “arcing,” or sparks flying from the wires of the system’s overhead power system.
The issue began during the freezing rain on Wednesday.
“Service may be adjusted as work is completed between Tremblay and St-Laurent stations,” said interim OC Transpo general manager Troy Charter. “Additional updates on the status of repairs and service will be provided as they become available.”
