Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads back “Down Under” in two months on Sat., May 2, 2026, inside RAC Arena in Perth, Australia — and the promotion is starting to round out what looks like a fun fight card.
The main event has already been announced, with former Welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena returning home to face dangerous Brazilian striker Carlos Prates in what promises to be an all-action showdown.
Yesterday, the promotion announced several other fights for the card.
Fan favorite Tai Tuivasa has been booked for the card and will face Sean Sharaf.
Tuivasa (14-9) is currently riding a six-fight losing streak and is coming off a sloppy unanimous decision loss to Tallison Teixeira at UFC 325 last month.
Sharaf (4-2), meanwhile, remains winless inside the Octagon after dropping both of his UFC appearances via stoppage.
Elsewhere on the card, former Flyweight title challenger Steve Erceg will get a hometown showcase when he faces fellow former title challenger Tim Elliott.
Erceg (13-4) recently snapped a three-fight skid with a short-notice victory over Ode Osbourne.
Elliott (21-13-1), meanwhile, is riding a two-fight win streak after earning a Performance of the Night submission victory over Kai Asakura at UFC 319 (watch highlights).
Longtime UFC veteran Gerald Meerschaert will head into hostile territory to face fellow grappler Jacob Malkoun in a Middleweight bout.
Malkoun (9-3) returned from a two-year layoff at UFC 325 last month and delivered a dominant victory over Torrez Finney. He now enters the matchup on a two-fight winning streak.
The two other fights that got added are Junior Tafa vs. Kevin Christian and Robert Bryczek vs. Cameron Rowston.
