On Monday following a three-month-long investigation into retail theft and distribution, officers executed a search warrant at a Brampton residence and allegedly recovered the butter and Ghee, along with 300 bottles of alcohol.
As a result, Pintu Gohil, 48, has been arrested and charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
He was released from custody on an undertaking and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on April 7.
Theft leads to higher prices, lost jobs
