A 21-year-old man from Mississauga is in hospital with serious head and facial injuries following a violent incident at Stampede Ranch in Guelph on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called around 11:30 p.m. to the bar on Woodlawn Road West for reports of a fight involving three men, two of which were injured.
“One of the the males who was assaulted unfortunately sustained some very serious head and facial injuries,” Guelph police spokesperson Scott Tracey told CBC News.
“The second person sustained some minor facial injuries. I don’t believe he received medical treatment for those,” Tracey said.
A 20-year-old man from Georgetown was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault.
His bail hearing will take place on Monday.
