Residents can again access city services and get their marriage, business, lottery and other licenses at the City Clerk’s office following months of renovations at Brampton City Hall.

Renovations began in August aimed at “enhancing service delivery, accessibility and overall customer experience,” moving marriage licences and ceremonies, business licences, burial Permits, liquor Licenses and more services to the third floor of the West Tower at 41 George St. S.

But starting Monday, Brampton’s City Clerk’s services have moved back to the City Hall Atrium now that the work is complete.

The city has updated its Civil Marriage enclaves amid an increased demand, with a redesigned space including seating, a dedicated ceremony area, and increasing guest capacity from eight to 12.

The accessible service counter has been updated with hearing loop technology to support residents who use hearing aids or cochlear implants. Document commissioning services are also available, including declarations, administering oaths and certifying documents.

Here are all the city services that are accessible through the newly-renovated City Clerk’s office:

Accessibility.
Business and Lottery Licences.
Committee of Adjustment.
Commissioner of Oaths.
Council/Committee Operations.
Marriage Licences and Ceremonies.
Municipal Elections.
Privacy and Access to Information.

It’s official! City Clerk’s services return to the Atrium at #Brampton City Hall on March 16, 2026. 🥳
