A 29-year-old man from Toronto is facing several charges after allegedly fraudulently obtaining two condo rentals.
Toronto police say the first incident happened between September 2025 and February 2026, while the second happened between January and March 2026.
Investigators said in September 2025 and January 2026, they received two reports in relation to apartment rentals being obtained by fraud in relation to the same suspect. The fraud office at 14 Division subsequently launched an investigation.
On March 13, Lucas Jenkins, 29, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000 and four counts of utter forged document.
Police believe there may be more victims and have released an image of the accused, who was scheduled to appear in court on March 16.
