An extremely popular Calgary cafe is set to open a brand-new outpost next month, and there will even be some freebies to celebrate.
Alforno, the spot known for its coffee and baked goods, is officially opening its West District cafe on Saturday, April 4, marking its eighth outpost in the city.
Since opening in 2015, Alforno, part of the Teatro Group, has become a staple in the city for its laid-back vibes, inspired by Italian café culture.
To celebrate the exciting milestone, Alforno West District guests will be able to get free mini fritters while supplies last between 11 a.m. and 3 pm on April 4.
Alforno isn’t the only spot opening up in the neighbourhood that day, as Village Ice Cream will also be hosting a grand opening party. As part of the festivities, guests will be able to purchase an exclusive Cronut Ice Cream Sandwich, made with Alforno’s fresh cronuts and Village Ice Cream.
