The release from the province says anyone born after 1970, and who had fewer than two doses of the measles vaccine, may be at risk of developing the disease.
Symptoms include a fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes and a rash that starts three to seven days after the fever comes on.
Anyone who may have measles is asked to stay home and call the measles hotline at 1-844-944-3434.
