VESTAL, N.Y. – This weekend, the Binghamton golf team will once again work with Colgate to host the latest edition of the Carpetbagger Classic from Saturday through Sunday at Worthington Manor Golf Club in Urbana, Md.

This is the Bearcats’ second event this week. Binghamton previously competed at the Southern Intercollegiate last Monday. Conner posted a score of 75/3-over par in each round. Shen, meanwhile, began the event with a score of 76/4-over par, before finishing with a 74/2-over par on the final 18 holes.
This was the second time Conner has finished in the top 20 this season, which goes along with his two runner-up finishes. Conner is up to five top 10 and eight top 20 finishes for his collegiate career to go along with his one tournament championship, the 2024 Lehigh Invitational.
For Shen, this was his second finish inside the top 20 this season. The senior previously tied for 11th at the Matthews Auto Collegiate Golf Invitational last October. Overall, Shen has three top 10 and three top 20 finishes throughout his collegiate career.
The first round tees off at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday with a shotgun start. The final round, meanwhile, begins with another shotgun start at 9:30 a.m., on Sunday.
