Peel police told INsauga.com that the building was unoccupied, and a spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedic Services says they were stood down. No patients were transported to hospital.

Road closures are in place at both eastbound and westbound Steeles Avenue at Axelrod Avenue. Police haven’t said when the closures are expected to lift, and say drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes.
