Police are asking members of the public to “remain vigilant” and help find a vehicle linked to a shooting north of Brampton.

Officers were called to a home on Bambi Trail in Caledon for reports of a shooting around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, the OPP says.

No injuries were reported, but investigators say a white Kia SUV was seen leaving the area following the shooting. Photos of the vehicle have been released.

Multiple homes in Caledon have been targeted by gunfire recently amid a wave of extortion incidents in Ontario, but investigators say the shooting isn’t believed to be extortion related.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the shooting is asked to contact investigators.

“The OPP urges the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity to the police,” police said in a release.
